My Top Live Albums

Dare I say, warmer weather is finally here? Makes you want to roll the windows down and crank your favorite live album! Here’s my top 5 live albums of all time!
1. Kiss ‘Alive’
First “LIVE” album I ever owned. I paid with pennies, nickels and dimes! It was a must have for every kid at Carter Jr High
2. Frampton Comes Alive
1976 was an amazing year for music. This album made you feel like you were right there at the show. Best part, I paid only $7.98 for an incredible double album.
3. Ted Nugent ‘Double Live Gonzo’ (1978)
The album I learned all the cool swear words. Favorite song without a doubt was Great White Buffalo!
4. Cheap Trick ‘Live at Budokan’
The original 1979 release only told half of the story. The original album had 10 live tracks but the band performed 19 altogether. This (1998) release features the entire performance.
5. Led Zeppelin ‘How the West Was Won’ (2003)
Recorded from the bands 1972 tour. Top of their game on this album. The Album captures the band in their sweet spot. Also a 19 min John Bonham drum solo, 25 min Dazed and Confused. Far better show then the Bands Song Remains the Same.
