“Shrek”-themed burlesque show exists!

In currents news about things that exist that no one ever asked for, how about the “Shrek” themed burlesque show called “Shreklesque.”

Now it’s not brand new, it’s been around since 2020 and not officially licensed, but there is a burlesque show in Australia that takes inspiration from Shrek. Features characters from the kids movie singing, dancing, and stripping!

So far it looks like the show is strictly in Australia.  Making its way around the country with performances in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand.  You can get an idea of what the show is about in the little show reel below. No word on if it will every make it’s way across the globe to the United States.
