Colin Kaepernick to Serve as Honorary Captain for the Wolverines’ Spring Game
Michigan’s Maize and Blue spring game is scheduled for Saturday (April 2). The scrimmage will feature an appearance from former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who will serve as an honorary captain.
You might be thinking, “But Kaepernick never played for Michigan.” While he might not have Michigan as part of his backstory, he did spend six seasons in the NFL with the 49ers, four of which seasons were under current Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The game kicks off at noon.
