A fire broke out at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township Thursday morning (Feb. 17), and crews are currently on the scene.
The fire reportedly began around 10 a.m., and the roof of the historic club house collapsed around 11 a.m.
Currently, multiple fire departments are involved with controlling the fire, including Southfield, Madison Heights, Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, Waterford, Bloomfield Township and Franklin.
This is developing story.
The Oakland Hills Country Club is more than 100 years old and considered one of the most historic in Michigan. The South Course of the complex recently had a restoration reopened to the members last summer.
