One of Michigan's favorite cookie shops is going to give customers a free Peanut Butter Volcano cookie if the Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl. How cool is that? Honestly, I love cookies, brownies, cake- all that sweet stuff. It's one more reason to root for Matthew Stafford to take it all home on Sunday.

Not that Michiganders needed another reason to root for the L.A. Rams in the Big Game. Watching Stafford take home the trophy on Sunday will be the closest we've come to seeing the Lions win a Super Bowl, well, in forever. So far, all the projections I've seen have Stafford and the Rams favored to win, so that's exciting. But, you never know what's going to happen, so it should be a good game and fairly even on the field. Now, onto this news about a free cookie.

The popular cookie store, Detroit Cookie Company, made the announcement about giving out free cookies on their Facebook page. The move is in hopes to build momentum in the Detroit area to rally behind Stafford.

"OK guys, y’all know the power of positive thinking. Let's send all the vibes to Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams for the upcoming Super Bowl victory" they stated. "WHEN they win the Super Bowl on 2/13/21 we are giving away 900 PB volcanos (Matthew’s fave) to the first cookie customers in each location on 2/21/22 (Monday) with purchase of any cookie(s)."

The Detroit Cookie Company has locations in Ferndale, Ann Arbor, and Grand Rapids. They pledge to give 300 cookies to the first 300 customers at each location. While that's a lot of cookies, chances are they'll sell out of 300 quickly, so you might want to get there early on Monday morning if the Rams take it all.

The Super Bowl is coming up this Sunday, and all eyes are on Matthew Stafford and he's goes all-out to bring Los Angeles the victory. A lot of Detroiters also feel that if Stafford wins, it will be a win for the Motor City.

Watching the Super Bowl is always a highlight for me. I love football, both college and NFL, and it's just so exciting to watch all the action and know millions of other o=people are watching with you.

As for the halftime show, sure, they always leave rock out, but you have to admit that the classic hip-hop bill they have is solid, including Detroit's own Eminem.

Read on for all the details, including the start time, teams playing (if you've been living under a rock!), halftime show, odds and more.

What time?

Super Bowl LV has a kick off time of 6:30 p.m. ET. It's weird to think that our California friends will be watching so early, at 3:30 p.m. PT. Live coverage on NBC and Peacock will start at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Who is playing?

Please tell me that you know this. But if not, the Cincinnati Bengals will go against the Los Angeles Rams at Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles.

Who will perform the halftime show?

It's a classic hip-hop bill of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

Who is singing the national anthem?

Mickey Guyton will sing the national anthem at Super Bowl LVI.

How to watch the Super Bowl

Super Bowl 2022 will be televised by NBC and streamed live on Peacockin, plus NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App.
