A Grandma Turned the Tables on a Scammer and Set Up a Sting Operation
A guy in New York messed with the wrong granny when he tried to scam a 73-year-old out of $8,000!
Joshua Estrella Gomez attempted to scam a grandma by claiming to be her grandson on the phone, and saying he needed bail money. But she knew it was a scam, because she didn’t have any grandsons that are able to drive and Gomez said he was arrested for DUI.
She turned the tables on him by setting up a STING operation with police. Making arrangements for a “bail bondsman” to come pick up the money from her. She gave the person that showed up an envelope filled with paper towel and cops arrested him.
