A woman in Canada is facing charges after she drove her car onto a frozen river, sped down the ice, and eventually fell through it!No word about why the woman was driving on the ice, but some video (clip below along with selfie) shows her speeding by a group of children playing on a backyard ice rink before she crashes through the ice.

She then took selfies on the roof of her car as it sank while people scrambled to save her. Residents along the river ended up sending a kayak over to her and pulling her to safety.

The driver declined medical treatment on the scene and has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle under the Criminal Code of Canada.
