Detroit Lions’ Tracy Walker Named NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Safety Tracy Walker of the Detroit Lions has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Week 18 against the Green Bay Packers.
During the game, he made 14 tackles and an important interception that helped the team defeat the Packers, 37-30.
Walker started 15 games for Detroit this season. He rounded out the year with 108 tackles and a sack, along with the Packers interception.
Walker is going to be a free agent in March, but he and the Lions have both said things implying that they want to keep him with the team.
