Ex-Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell could be a NFL head coach once again. I was a big fan of Caldwell during his time at the Lions, so I would be happy to see him return to the role of head coach, even if it's for a rival team.
According to the NFL Network, Caldwell is lined up to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to the network, the Jaguars have expressed interest in bringing on Buccaneers offensive coordinator and former quarterback Byron Leftwich for the open slot. The network listed Caldwell and former Eagles coach Doug Pederson as the other two names “expected to interview.”
Caldwell served as the head coach in Indianapolis for three seasons before coming to the Lions.
