Need a turkey or know of someone in need? You're in luck, as Sheriff Raphael Washington and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with CNS Healthcare, will give out 2,000 turkeys in Wayne County this Thanksgiving holiday.

“This is the season of giving and a time to be thankful for what we have,” said Sheriff Washington. “This is a chance for families in need to enjoy a turkey dinner this Thanksgiving, just as those more fortunate.”

The first 1,000 people at each location will score a free turkey. This is for adults only, with a limit of one per
household, while supplies last. ID may be required.
