Rise Against will release their new Nowhere Sessions EP on Friday (Nov. 12), but they couldn't wait to release their cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son," which is appropriate for Veterans Day.

“We actually used to cover ‘Fortunate Son’ in our early basement days. To me, the song represents one of the best examples of mixing music and politics together so seamlessly that nobody questions it,” singer and vocalist Tim McIlrath said in a statement.
