Metallica are turning the big 4-0 as a band, and in honor of the landmark, the metal band is releasing a limited-edition ring.
The catch is that only 40 of the rings will be sold. The rings are made of silver and brass and hand-numbered, to boot.
The rings also display the number 40 with part of the the “M” logo in raised brass. Think of this as the uber-cool senior class ring you never got in high school.
The limited-edition rings are available in the Metallica store for $399.99 for members of Metallica’s fanclub, the “Fifth Members.”
Update: The rings already sold out, but there’s also a custom, $249.00 version that’s “coming soon” according the band’s store.
