Michigan State Falls to Purdue, 40-29 – Highlights and Takeaways
Michigan State University’s undefeated football season came to an end Saturday (Nov. 6), as the team fell to Purdue, 40-29, on the road.
The Spartans’ star, Kenneth Walker III, had a strong game, with 23 carries for 146 yards and a score, but it wasn’t enough for a Spartan win.
Due to the loss, Michigan State fell to No. 8 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 9 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. Michigan is No. 9 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll.
Next up, Michigan State will hosts Maryland on Saturday (Nov. 13).
