Remember to Fall Back: Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday
If you’re like me and love as much daylight as possible, then you should be happy to hear that daylight saving time ends this Sunday morning (Nov. 7). The move means sunrises and sunsets will start one hour earlier, beginning Sunday. Of course, another bonus is most Americans will get an extra hour of sleep.
Daylight saving time for 2021 will officially end on Sunday (Nov. 7) at 2 a.m. When that time hits, clocks will “fall back” one hour to 1 a.m.
Most smartphones will have their clocks rolled back automatically, but don’t forget to change the time on other devices, like home appliances.
Most of the U.S. is impacted by the change. Those who aren’t impacted include Hawaii, sections of Arizona and people living in U.S. territories.
The U.S. will “spring forward” on March 13 at 2 a.m., with clocks moving to 3 a.m.
