U.S. News & World Report has released its latest rankings of the top colleges in the world, and one Michigan university is in the top 20. That's for the entire globe, not just the U.S., which makes it extra impressive.

So, what school is on top? According to the report, which came out Tuesday (Oct. 26), the No. 19 university in the whole world is the University of Michigan.

Of course, Michigan has plenty of good schools, including my alma mater, Michigan State University. On U.S. News & World Report's new list, MSU was the next highest scoring Michigan school at No. 108 in the world, followed by Michigan Technological University at No. 760.

Some Michigan schools that were outside the top 1000 on the list include Western Michigan University at No. 1211 and Central Michigan University at No. 1306. The report ranked 1,849 universities.
