Clueless Bystander Stepped Into the Path of a Racing Cyclist
Remember last summer when someone stepped into the path of a Tour de France cyclist and caused a pileup? A guy at a cycling event in the Canary Islands was nearing the finish line when a woman walked into the road in front of him.
He hit her, and they both hit the pavement. He suffered a “moderate head injury.” She was treated at the scene, and then airlifted to a medical center.
