A Florida man is in jail for one of the dumbest reasons ever! He attempted to rob a Waffle House using finger guns.
According to reports Edward William Rodriguez entered a Madison County Waffle House and screamed “Get on the ground, y’all are getting robbed.” A restaurant employee called 911 to report the attempted robbery. Rodriguez did not appear to be armed but he did raise his fingers in the gun shape. He grabbed some napkins then fled the restaurant.
When police caught up to him at his home he admitted to the crime and was arrested.
