It’s that time of year again- time to start thinking about snow. Say it isn’t so! I’m not a big fan of snow, if you can’t tell.
So, when should Michigan expect its first snowfall?
The National Weather Service has released data on the average date West Michigan usually gets the white stuff. In Grand Rapids, it’s Nov. 8. In Lansing, it’s Nov. 9. In Muskegon, it’s Nov. 15.
In Detroit, the National Weather Service says the average date of the first snowfall is Nov. 16, and the earliest date we’ve gotten it is Oct. 12. I’m not ready! View more information below.
