Hotwire is out with its latest list of "America's Best Cities for a Quickie." By "quickie," they mean American's best destinations for a quick getaway, if you don't have much time on your hands. According to Hotwire, 83% of people in a recent survey want "quick, spontaneous trips to meet their travel needs."

To conduct the survey, Hotwire used the following factors: Best Bang For Your Buck (value), things to do (leisure) and ease of arrival (drive-ability).

In the study, Ann Arbor, Michigan, was named one of the best "itty bitty" cities for a quick trip, coming in at No. 7. Savannah, Georgia, was No. 1 on that list.

For major cities, New York City was No. 1. For mid-sized cities, Atlanta, Georgia, was on top. Finally, for small town favorites, Orlando, Florida took the top spot.
