Last week, we shared the news that a beloved Michigan restaurant was getting spotlighted on The Food Network. Now, we have more good news about an additional Mitten eatery getting the same acclaim.

Last week's establishment was Ann Arbor burger joint Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger. Now, the folks at Meat BBQ in Lansing have announced that, like Blimpy Burger, they'll be on an upcoming episode of the popular Food Network show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."

The BBQ spot announced on Facebook that they were closed for a day earlier this week because they had a camera crew from The Food Network in the building.

This is a return episode for Meat BBQ, as the restaurant was on the show in 2017. Meat thanked locals for their "constant support and love" and said the episode would air in early 2022.

Some Things We Love About Fall in Michigan:

Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football. Anne is also an award-winning journalist, and her byline has run in a variety of national publications. You can also hear her weekends on WRIF.
