So, you're looking for an apartment and want something spacious. Where in Michigan can you get the most bang for your buck, so to speak, when it comes to apartment living?

The crew at RentCafe.com put their heads together and did a study to determine where you can find the most apartment space in Michigan for $1,100 per month.

The No. 1 city, according to the study, is Flint, where you get 1,403 sq. ft. for $1,100 a month. Flint also has one of the lowest average rent costs in Michigan at $679 per month. Other top cities for getting a good amount of space for $1,100 per month include Taylor at No. 4, followed by Battle Creek, Davison and Jackson.

The worst cities to score a large apartment for $1,100 per month include Ann Arbor at No. 1, followed by Dearborn, Detroit, East Lansing and Royal Oak.
