Did you know the only public treehouse in the country is close to Detroit?
The Cannaley Treehouse Village is located in Swanton, Ohio, and offers a true treehouse village. The village features treehouses for two, four and six people, as well as raised platforms attached to trees for camping.
These are fancy treehouses, too, complete with electricity, heat and air conditioning.
If this sounds like your thing, note that four private treehouses and three tent/hammock platforms are available to public to rent overnight. You'll have to wait, though, as their website states that "2021 rental availability is limited." They also book 365 days ahead.
