Eddie Vedder to Release New Solo Song, ‘Long Way,’ Tonight

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has been busy as of late doing guest appearances on friends’ albums, such as Elton John’s upcoming The Lockdown Sessions and Tom Morello’s new cover of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”
Now, Vedder is gearing up to release a new solo song.
According to Republic Records, Vedder will release his latest solo single, “Long Way,” tonight (Sept. 7). A song teaser hints at a mellow, country-tinged acoustic rock track, which is typical of Vedder’s solo material.
In the meantime, listen to Tom Morello’s collaboration with Vedder on AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” which also features Bruce Springsteen, below.
