The Big Ten Conference announced some news Monday (Aug. 23) regarding their COVID-19 policies.

According to the Big Ten, if a game must be canceled due to COVID-19, the team that has the virus must forfeit the game and it will not be rescheduled.

In turn, that game will be counted as a loss for the team with COVID-19 and a win for the opponent.

If both teams have COVID-19 and can’t play, the game will be counted as a “no contest.” Find more information here.
