AEG Presents to Require COVID-19 Vaccine for Events, Including at Royal Oak Music Theatre, Masonic Temple
Those attending a live event at Royal Oak Music Theatre or the Masonic Temple will now be required to be fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine starting Oct. 1.
AEG Presents recently announced that it will require all concertgoers and event staff across the U.S. to be vaccinated, including at the Detroit venues. For events before Oct. 1, attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test that was taken within 72 hours of the event to enter the venue.
The Masonic Temple has stated that the rule applies only to AEG Presents events at the venue and that the move was not made by the Freemasons.
Live Nation recently announced that it would require those attending events, as well as all staff, to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test starting Oct. 4.
