Zakk Wylde Will Tour in Ozzy Osbourne’s Band in 2022
Guitarist Zakk Wylde will be part of Ozzy Osbourne’s touring band when the metal great is back on the road in 2022.
The news is welcomed for Wylde fans, especially considering the guitarist didn’t perform on Ozzy’s Ordinary Man album and isn’t likely to play on Osbourne’s upcoming release.
Speaking with Classic Rock, Wylde said, indeed, he will be in Ozzy’s band next year.
“Yes, I will be,” Wylde said, when asked if he would be on the run. “Ozz is getting himself back healthy, and then we’ll be back out on the road.”
When asked if Wylde felt bad being left off Ozzy’s new albums, he replied, in part, “…I don’t have to be involved in everything Ozz does. I’ll always be there for him and Sharon. If they call now and ask me to go over to feed their dogs for three days… I’m there.”
Osbourne is currently slated to return to the road in 2022 starting with a European tour in January.
