Here’s What to Do If You’re at a Dark Traffic Light in Michigan

With the kind of storms Detroit has seen recently, you might find some four-way intersections with blown out lights during your daily trips out and about.
Following the ice storm of 2018, Michigan lawmakers signed into law that you must treat dark intersection as a four-way stop. It’s not a difficult concept. After all, it’s what we all learned in driver’s education.
That said, it’s the law now, so if you come across a dark intersection, treat it as a four-way stop. Stay safe!
