Greta Van Fleet owe some thanks to a new TikTok trend, because it's led to a significant streaming increase of their song "You're the One."

So, what's the trend? TikTok users are doing their best to imitate singer Josh Kiszka's quirky facial expressions and mannerisms from GVF's performance on Saturday Night Live from January 2019.

Per Billboard, "In the July 16-22 tracking period, Greta Van Fleet earned 7.6 million U.S. on-demand streams of its catalog, a boost of 122%, according to MRC Data. Additionally, the rockers racked up 6,000 digital downloads of its songs, up 461%, and 5,000 album sales, up 86%."

Billboard added, "Leading the way in both song-related metrics, 'You’re the One' boasts 923,000 on-demand streams, leaping 508%. Its sales count, meanwhile, is 2,000 downloads, a 1,955% surge that allows the song to re-enter Hard Rock Digital Song Sales at No. 2, a new peak, after previously reaching No. 5 in February 2019. It also returns to Rock Digital Song Sales at No. 5, a new peak that ties the band’s personal best on the chart, previously achieved by 'Always There' (No. 5, September 2019)."

If you feel so inclined, you can relive Greta Van Fleet's SNL performance of "You're The One" in the video below, perhaps to help you practice with recording your own TikTok clip.
