The Fillmore in Detroit is reopening, and comedian Dave Chappelle is one of the venue's first performers.

Chappelle has a four-show series coming to the venue this August, with two shows on Aug. 10 and one on Aug. 11 and 12. Tickets are on sale today (Aug. 2).

Chapelle is a big name. The comedian got his start on Comedy Central and Saturday Night Live and is one of the biggest names in comedy today. He doesn't tour super often, either, making these gigs extra sweet.

For Chappelle's shows, he doesn't allow cellphones, cameras or any recording devices.

Everyone attending the show will be subject to a COVID-19 test before entry.
