Michigan State snagged their highest-rated football prospect of the 2022 season so far on Monday (July 26).
Dearborn Fordson wide receiver Antonio Gates Jr. took to Twitter to announce that he’s committing to be part of MSU’s recruiting class of 2022.
Gates picked Michigan State over Florida, Penn State, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Gates is the son of legendary NFL tight end Antonio Gates.
He’s the 16th commit for MSU for 2022 and the second wide receiver, in addition to Jaron Glover from Florida.
