Tokyo’s Olympic Rings Were Made From Trees Planted at 1964 Games

TOKYO, JAPAN - JULY 23: Performers act out a routine in-front of the Olympic Rings during the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at Olympic Stadium on July 23, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.

The wood came from 160 pines and spruces grown from seeds that came from the countries of Northern Europe, Canada, and Ireland. T
