An Olympic pole vaulter smashed his two front teeth during training
A pole vaulter, named Harry Coppell on Team Great Britain, had an accident during training and smashed his two front teeth!
He clipped the bar on the way down causing it to come loose and fall towards him on the mat. He put his arms to stop the bar from smashing him in the head, but it still ended up smacking him in the mouth. Videos and pictures of the vault were posted to his Instagram account you can see below.
Coppell has a good sense of humor about the entire situation joking that he hoped Japan has some good dentists and also that he plans to tell people he got into a bar fight! You can read the full story and get some more pictures at the link below.
