Congratulations are in order for Sergei Fedorov, who is getting into the coaching game.
The former Red Wing and Hall of Famer will serve as head coach of CSKA Moscow in Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League, it was announced on Wednesday (July 21).
Fedorov was already involved with CSKA as a member their front office in a leadership role.
Fedorov was the first Russian player to win the Hart Trophy in 1994, back when he was with the Red Wings.
