Fast Food Employees Set Off Fireworks Inside the Restaurant Then Watched the Place Burn
Several employees at a Taco Bell in Nashville set off fireworks INSIDE the restaurant last week. The explosions started a fire, which caused more than $30,000 in damage.
Restaurant surveillance shows the staff members lock doors so that customers could not get in during the fireworks stunt. Employees could also be seen running through the dining room with lit fireworks in hand and eventually throwing some in a trash can. The staff then recorded the trash can fireworks from outside the building, and that’s when they realized they locked themselves out.
Attempts to get back in the building failed and they had to call 911. The shift leader was arrested, and more arrests are likely.
