The band’s name is from “Foo fighter,” a nickname from Allied aircraft pilots for UFOs.

Shinedown

Shinedown formed in 2001.

Shinedown has the most No. 1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts with a whopping 16.

The band has sold more than 10 million records.
