What’s it like to be a Detroit Lion? There are ups and downs, for sure, but when it comes to draft day, it’s pretty exciting.
In the Lions’ just-released Inside the Den episode, the team takes fans inside their “War Room” during draft day to see what it’s like inside that dramatic draft day experience.
In nearly 40-minute video, new coach Dan Campbell says, “For me, it was exciting. I wasn’t nervous. I was excited. Honestly, I kind of file like a little kid on Christmas morning. Just that, oh, man.”
“You know there’s going to be something good under the tree,” he added. “You just don’t know what it is just yet.”
