P.O.D. Announce 20th Anniversary ‘Satellite’ Reissue and Tour
P.O.D. released their fourth studio album, Satellite, on Sept. 11, 2001, and the set went on to earn triple-platinum status and a crop of rock radio hits.
Now, the band is celebrating that 20-year milestone with a U.S. tour and Satellite reissue with rare and unreleased music.
The reissue, titled Satellite: 20th Anniversary Edition, will arrive as a double-CD and digitally on Sept. 3. The set features a newly remastered version of the original album, as well as rarities, remixes and four previously unreleased demos.
The reissue also has a bonus disc that includes b-sides like “Critic” and “Sabbath” that were initially released in Europe, as well as remixes for “Boom” by The Crystal Method and “Youth Of The Nation” by Mike$ki.
P.O.D.’s tour, dubbed the Satellite Tour, kicks off Aug. 14 in Sturgis, South Dakota, and runs through an Oct. 7 date in their stomping grounds of San Diego.
