The 2021 QS World University Rankings have arrived for the U.S., and has complied the information into a list of top U.S. universities by state.

Two of Michigan’s public universities made the list. The University of Michigan is ranked No. 18, while Michigan State University is No. 55.

They also broke down the list to show the best U.S. universities by state. In that section, they named University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University, Michigan Technological University, Andrews University, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Oakland University, Western Michigan University, Central Michigan University, Lawrence Technological University, Madonna University and University of Michigan-Flint as the top picks in Michigan.

Here are the Top 10 universities in the U.S., according to the tally:

2. Stanford University

3. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

4. University of California Berkeley (UCB)

5. University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

6. Yale University

7. Columbia University

8. Princeton University

9. New York University (NYU)

10. University of Pennsylvania
