New legislation to fill a hole in Michigan the current marijuana law that has enabled some untested and unregulated products to be sold has made its way through the Michigan House.

The legislation would include all THC products under the banner and legal definition of marijuana, hence forcing all of those products to adhere to the same level of testing, regulation and restrictions.

The new bills got bipartisan approval. Now, they head to the Michigan Senate and, finally, to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Michigan made medical marijuana legal in 2008 and recreational marijuana in 2018.
