Happy 70th birthday to KISS’ Ace Frehley! Photos Over the Years
Happy 70th birthday to the one and only Ace Frehley!
Frehley, of course, was the original lead guitarist for KISS. The was a member of the band from its early days in the mid-1970s until 1982. He left the band and then jumped back in for the band’s 1996 reunion tour.
Then, in 2002, Frehley left Kiss at the end of the band’s farewell tour. (The tour, of course, ended up not being their farewell run at all.)
Frehley also has a plentiful solo career. His latest album, Origins Vol. 2., arrived in September of 2020 and featured an array of cover songs.
Here are some great photos of Ace over the years!
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football. Anne is also an award-winning journalist, and her byline has run in a variety of national publications. You can also hear her weekends on WRIF.
