Deftones have debuted the music video for "Ceremony," a song from the band's latest album, Ohms.

The video features a mysteries woman and has a horror film vibe, which is appropriate, since it was directed by Leigh Whannell, the horror filmmaker behind the first three Saw movies and the film The Invisible Man.

The collaboration came together thanks to Twitter. Whannell recently tweeted that he was a Deftones fan, and it caught the band's attention.

"When Leigh tweeted that he was a fan, we immediately thought it would be cool to collaborate with him, given the chance," frontman Chino Moreno said in a statement. "We're fans of his as well, so it made sense that we should reach out. One moment we're DMing each other on Twitter, and the next we're on set making 'Ceremony.'"

"This has always been the best way for us to collaborate: organically, collaboratively and in this case, expeditiously," he added. "We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we had making it."

Deftones release Ohms, their ninth studio album, last September.
