Happy 74th birthday to David Letterman!
Letterman was born on April 12, 1947. He hosted late night television talk shows for a whopping 33 years, starting with "Late Night with David Letterman" on NBC, which kicked off its debut episode on Feb. 1, 1982, and ran through May 20, 2015, airing of "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS. That's quite a run!
