Many Michiganders have been waiting to become eligible to get their coronavirus vaccine, and today, it’s happening.

The Michigan Department of Heath and Human Services has announced that starting today, any Michigan resident over the age of 16 will be eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Ford Field is a major vaccination site in Detroit, administering thousands of doses a day. For information on how to sign up, go here.

Every Meijer store in Michigan is also offering the vaccine.
