Two Florida teens had to be rescued from one of those slingshot rides after a cable broke.
The slingshot ride at Old Town in Kissimmee, FL had a cable break. Trapping two teens on the ride about 30-40 feet above the ground. Fire and rescue were called to get the teens off the ride. They refused medical attention and were safe during the entire ordeal.
The ride had been inspected recently and the entire park undergoes state inspections twice a year. The ride is currently shut down until the cable is repaired and all inspections get passed.
