Who Doesn’t Want Some Cookies With Their Weed?
Some Girl Scouts in Michigan who were making bank selling their cookies outside a marijuana dispensary were allegedly told to stop by the national Girl Scouts organization.
Due to COVID-19 the Girl Scouts have been having a hard time selling cookies and after some recent success from other Girl Scout troops selling cookies outside of dispensaries a Michigan troop wanted to try to do the same. When they reached out to the Girl Scouts to get permission to set up, someone at the organization had alluded that it was frowned upon and they shouldn’t be selling outside of a dispensary.
This has led to some confusion because the Girl Scouts say they do NOT have a policy forbidding sales outside of dispensaries…The owner of the dispensary is happy to have the Girl Scouts set up at his location every weekend and doesn’t understand why there would be any issues. We will see if they will set up on future weekends.
Do you think Girl Scout Cookie sales should be allowed outside of a weed dispensary?
