Will we actually get in-person events in 2021? The folks behind the 2021 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix are planning on it.

Organizers involved with the Grand Prix, presented by Lear, are prepping to put tickets on sale for the race weekends in the next few weeks.

An email to fans and previous ticketholders recently went out, explaining the steps to get tickets. Note that dates for the race weekends have yet to be announced.

According to the email, all 2020 Grand Prix ticketholders who wish to roll their tickets to the 2021 race will receive an email confirming their order for this year's event.

All 2019 and 2020 ticketholders will receive an email with a link to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be a priority purchase period with 2020 ticket pricing.

Anyone who has 2021 tickets will also be allowed to purchase additional tickets or days.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public following the aforementioned moves.
