DC Comics is bringing metal music to the masses, as its upcoming "Dark Nights: Death Metal" series will feature metal royalty Ozzy Osbourne, Ghost and Megadeth.

The seven "Dark Nights" issues will each display a cover with a different metal artist in a comic book format, plus a special introduction penned by the artist and a full interview.

Lacuna Coil, Dream Theater and Sepultura will also be featured in the series.

The covers will start to arrive in March.

"Dark Nights: Death Metal" features Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as they fight the antagonist Batman Who Laughs. The series kicked off last June, featuring Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack as the Caped Crusader, as well as a new Rise Against song named "Broken Dreams, Inc."
