If Tiger King has taught us anything it’s that there is a ferocious appetite for news stories about absolute disaster people. In that spirit, each night during the 9 and 10 o’clock hours I enjoy playing a game with you, the listener, called Florida or Australia. The rules are simple: I’ll tell you about a news story on the air and you text or call in and tell me if you think the story happened in Florida or Australia. (because those two places seem to have a high concentration of craziness.) Fridays are a special wildcard edition where I ask you to determine if the stories are homegrown crazy or imported from other countries. Here are tonight’s stories:

Police impersonator arrested after stealing donut from Lehi convenience store

Investigators say a tip from a convenience store clerk about a stolen donut led them to arrest a man accused of impersonating a police officer. The tip came from a 7-Eleven at 850 E. Main Street in Lehi on Sunday.

Folkspaper - Fired Mercedes Employee Steals Earthmover, Destroys 70 Company Vehicles In Revenge

The Mercedes Benz plant in Spain had quite an eventful New Year's Eve after one former employee stormed inside one of their plants and damaged property worth $6 million. A 38-year-old former Mercedes Benz employee consciously broke inside of a plant in Vitoria, Spain with help of a Caterpillar loader.
