If Tiger King has taught us anything it’s that there is a ferocious appetite for news stories about people and animals acting badly and the wild happenstance of life. In that spirit each night during the 9 and 10 o’clock hour I enjoy playing a game with you, the listener, called Florida or Australia. The rules are simple: I’ll tell you about a news story on the air and you text or call in and tell me if you think the story happened in Florida or Australia.(because those two places seem to have a high concentration of craziness.) Sydney Driver Charged After Luxury Mercedes Bursts Into Flames While Doing Burnout

A Sydney man has two reasons to be devastated this week after he will be forced to go to court following his luxury Mercedes bursting into flames as he allegedly attempted to do a burnout. Emergency services were called to Chester Hill just after midday on Sunday after the man's Mercedes Benz AMG C63S coupe ignited, reportedly while outside a wedding.

Giant pumpkin weighing-in at 867kg knocks off Southern Hemisphere record

An Australian-grown pumpkin has set a new record for the heaviest in the Southern Hemisphere at the 2021 Giant Pumpkin and Watermelon Festival in Kyogle in northern New South Wales.
