A guy in Colombia is drunk in the middle of a street but luckily had his trusty pet dog to protect him.

The loyal pooch literally throws itself over its owner and anytime someone approaches him, it starts barking to fend them off.

We've said it before and we'll never stop saying it: humans don't deserve dogs. If, for some strange reason, you need a reminder of why canines are called man's best friend, have a look at this video... Here we have a guy in Colombia classically drunk in the middle of a street (hopefully he's okay).
